CURRENT ACTIVITIES:

Team 2182 is currently searching for Sponsors for the upcoming 2009 FIRST Robotics Competition.  If you are interested in sponsoring our team through either cash donations or in-kind donations (food, work space, tools, etc...) please visit our Sponsors section of this website to find out how you may help us meet our goal.  The team is supported by the St. Tammany Parish School Board which is a non-profit organization under section (170) of the IRS code, making your donations tax deductible. 

NEWS:

2008 BAYOU REGIONAL COMPETITION

 

Team 2182 competed for the second year in a row at the Bayou Regional Competition in New Orleans, LA.  The robot that we designed and built this year was a fast hurdler bot.  A picture of our robot hurdling the goal is found to the right.  During qualifiers we were on 7 winning alliances out of the 9 games that we played which was good enough to finish 5th after qualification rounds.  We were the team captain for the 4th elimination round alliance, and chose team 230 and 536 as our alliance partners.  We were eliminated during the second match of quarterfinal 2.  The following chart courtesy of the Blue Alliance website

MEETING INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS:

We currently have permission to use the school every other Friday.  Our first meeting of the summer will be no earlier than June 27th.  Stay tuned to this website for current meeting information.
